Your privacy matters. At Stamped, we believe your travel memories are personal. We don't show ads, we don't sell your data, and we give you full control over your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign up, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (stored securely)
  • Google account info (if you choose to sign in with Google)

Profile Information (Optional)

You can choose to add:

  • Display name
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth
  • Profile photo

Location Information

When you tap to collect a stamp, we access:

  • Your GPS location at that moment
  • The country, city, and region you're in

Important: We only access your location when you actively tap to collect a stamp. We do not track you in the background.

Your Content

Things you create in the app:

  • Journal entries (title, text, mood)
  • Trip information
  • Photos and captions

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide the app's features (stamps, journals, photos)
  • Verify your location for stamp collection
  • Keep your account secure
  • Send important service updates (rarely)

3. What We Don't Do

  • We don't sell your data to anyone
  • We don't show advertisements
  • We don't track your location in the background
  • We don't share your data for marketing purposes

4. Data Security

We take security seriously:

  • Your password is securely encrypted
  • Your private photos are only accessible by you
  • All data is transmitted securely

5. Your Choices

Access & Edit

You can view and edit all your information within the app at any time.

Delete Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data through the app settings. This permanently removes everything - your stamps, journals, photos, and account information.

Location Permission

You can revoke location access anytime through your device settings. Without location access, you won't be able to collect new stamps, but your existing data remains intact.

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you through the app.
